With the population of 3,721 as per the census 2010, Tierra Verde is a census-designated place situated at the Pinellas County, Florida. This small community is situated near an island near the Tampa Bay’s residence. The place earlier was surfaced with mangroves, bushes, and pines.

 

Things to do in Tierra Verde, Florida

Fort DeSoto Park:

If you are a nature lover, then this park as so much to offer. There are three beaches in the area and each one of them offers so many things. from fishing piers, rentals, canteen, hiking trails, dog parks, you will find everything here. And of course, the blue water and the magnificent sanctuary area where you can explore migrating birds which add to the whole experience.

Island Boat Adventure:

One of the best ways to explore Tierra Verde is to take yourself to a boat ride. The Island Boat Adventure will begin with dolphin sighting, to snorkeling, and the trip will end at Egmont Key to explore the beautiful beaches of this island. This trip is especially a must have if you came along with your kids.

Sunshine Skyway Bridge:

The bridge is 5 miles long and it 175 feet above the Tampa Bay. The site from this bridge is absolutely amazing and you can also get fishing piers on the north as well as the south side of the bridge.

Sunken Gardens:

If nature and wildlife are what you are looking for then do pay a visit to Sunken Gardens. From lotus flower, orchids, to alligator, turtles, and flamingos there is so much you can see in Sunken Gardens.
